ZERUST® ZerioTec® Fog FV
ZERUST® ZerioTec® FOG-FV is a ready-to-use, water-based rust preventative designed for fogging and low-pressure spray applications to protect ferrous metals within enclosed or sealable systems. It combines contact corrosion inhibitors, hydrophobic barrier film formation, and Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology to provide both surface and vapor-delivered corrosion protection.
ZerioTec® FOG-FV deposits a thin, water-displacing hydrophobic film on accessible metal surfaces while VCI vapors migrate throughout sealed spaces to protect hard-to-reach voids and internal geometries during preservation, layup, or post-hydrostatic testing.

Application Guidelines and Removal
- Application method: Fogging or low-pressure spray into enclosed void spaces
- Typical dosage: 0.2-0.4 L/m³ (200-400 mL/m³)
- Application temperature: 5-49°C (41-120°F)
- Seal system immediately after application to retain VCI vapors
- Removal is typically not required; if needed, remove with an alkaline cleaner
