Identification of Asset

The process begins when a client identifies an asset or piece of equipment requiring corrosion protection. This may include assets that are in service, out of service, being preserved for future use, or under construction, such as tanks, pipelines, casings, offshore structures, or industrial equipment. The asset type, condition, operating status, and environment help establish the appropriate approach to corrosion mitigation.

Assessment and Solution Customization

Our team of engineers, chemists, field contractors, and project managers works closely with the client to assess the asset, identify corrosion risks, and understand project requirements. This may include reviewing specifications, environmental and operating conditions, inspection data, schematics, applicable API or industry standards, and project constraints.

Based on this assessment, we develop a customized corrosion mitigation plan utilizing ZERUST® corrosion control technologies. The proposed approach is reviewed with the client and refined as needed to align with asset requirements, site conditions, and project goals.

Plan Approval and scheduling

Once the corrosion mitigation plan is approved and a Purchase Order (PO) is submitted, a ZERUST Integrity Solutions® project manager coordinates with the client and applicable contractors to finalize the project timeline, installation requirements, and scheduling.

Finalizing Project Details

Our team works closely with the client and approved contractors to finalize installation requirements and site-specific details. This may include installation logistics, safety requirements, equipment needs, site access, contractor coordination, and other project considerations. When appropriate, a ZERUST Integrity Solutions® representative may also provide onsite support during installation.

MATERIAL VERIFICATION & logistics

Our team coordinates with vendors, contractors, and client representatives to confirm that required materials are ordered, shipped, and available at the job site according to the project schedule. Verifying materials and logistics in advance helps support an efficient installation and minimize potential delays.

Project Installation

On the scheduled installation date, contractors and/or ZERUST Integrity Solutions® representatives arrive onsite to execute the approved corrosion mitigation plan. Following required site check-in and safety procedures, the team verifies materials, reviews the installation scope, and proceeds with implementation. Our team remains available throughout the process to provide technical guidance and address questions that may arise.

Installation Follow-Up Report

When a ZERUST Integrity Solutions® representative provides onsite installation support, a post-installation report may be prepared to document the completed work. Depending on the project, this may include photographs, schematics, installation details, observations, recommendations, and other relevant project documentation.

Project Completion and CONTINUED SUPPORT

Our involvement can continue beyond installation. Following project completion, we work with clients as appropriate to review system performance, collect corrosion monitoring data, and provide guidance regarding maintenance, replenishment, inspection, or other ongoing protection needs.

Through continued technical support and collaboration, ZERUST Integrity Solutions® helps clients maintain effective corrosion protection and support the long-term integrity of their critical assets.
