What to Expect

After preparing the test according to the instructions above, periodically compare the PROTECTED and UNPROTECTED samples over the first 24–72 hours.
Differences in visible corrosion demonstrate the protection provided by Zerion® FVS corrosion inhibitor under the conditions of the test.
 

Important: Conditions beyond 72 hours fall outside the intended demonstration period and should not be considered representative of Zerion® FVS performance.

What is zerust® zerion® fvs

ZERUST® Zerion® FVS is a versatile corrosion mitigation technology designed to protect ferrous metals in enclosed, difficult-to-access, and moisture-prone environments.

Utilizing both Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) and Soluble Corrosion Inhibitor (SCI) technologies, Zerion® FVS provides complementary protection for exposed metal surfaces and areas affected by moisture, condensation, or water ingress.

 

how does zerust® zerion® fvs work?

Zerion® FVS provides two complementary forms of corrosion protection:

  • Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors (VCIs): Migrate throughout enclosed environments to help protect exposed metal surfaces, including difficult-to-access areas, crevices, welded areas, and coating defects.
  • Soluble Corrosion Inhibitors (SCIs): Provide corrosion protection where moisture, condensation, or water comes into contact with the metal surface.

Together, these technologies help provide corrosion protection across complex environments where conventional coatings or other direct-contact protection methods may be difficult or impractical.
