ZERUST® ZerioTec™ Fog MV
ZERUST® ZerioTec™ Fog MV is a ready-to-use, water-based rust-preventative liquid engineered for fogging and spraying applications. It protects ferrous metals through ZERUST® contact inhibitors and advanced Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) technology while also being compatible with multimetal systems. The VCI molecules migrate effectively to protect hard-to-reach voids in enclosed spaces, making ZERUST® ZerioTec™ Fog MV is ideal for fogging into piping systems, void spaces and static equipment. It is an effective, safe alternative to nitrogen blanketing and saves time and money compared to traditional methods including dry air systems or desiccant bags.

- ZERUST® ZerioTec™ Fog MV is a water-based product and will freeze at temperature/environment conditions/substrate surface temperature when water freezes. Do not apply product when there is a chance of water freezing. For low-freezing temperature applications, please contact a ZERUST® representative for winterized versions.
Application Guidelines and Removal
- Fog or mist into void spaces
- Typical application rate 0.2–0.3 oz/ft³ (0.2–0.3 L/m³)
- Application temperature: 41–120°F (5 - 49°C)
- Expected to place equipment directly in to service, without the need for corrosion inhibitor removal

Storage
- Store in original packaging at 32–85°F (0–29°C), away from sunlight; thaw and mix if frozen, and reseal after use for up to 2 years of shelf life.
